About
About This Wiki
Heavyweight Fishing Wiki is a fan-made reference site for the Roblox fishing game Heavyweight Fishing, developed by the Unknown Journey group. It exists because the game's numbers — 29 named rods, four trait rarity bands, ten islands and their weather cycles — are easy to lose track of once you are a few hours in.
Everything here is written for players who want to compare before they spend: which rod is worth the jump in price, which orb needs a quest and which one needs a merchant, and what a trait roll actually costs you in expectation. We are not affiliated with the developer or with Roblox.
About Heavyweight Fishing
Heavyweight Fishing launched on Roblox in August 2025 and has grown into a fishing simulation with a combat layer bolted on top. You still catch and sell fish for cash, but the reason to keep upgrading is the boss side: martial-arts style skills bought from NPCs, orbs that slot into your build and traits rolled onto individual skills.
